peter, yes mpeg2 most definitely was/is the issue. big problems with
interlaced content. i noticed decreased quality in mpeg2 720p also but
not as bad. nvidia was blaming google for a regression on all
interlaced playback. in kodi it was still a problem but somewhat
better. the two myth programs i could only watch h264 content. that was
my experience. i had other non mythtv related problems all relating to
file permissions.
