[mythtv-users] Mesa 22.3.1 regression with AMD GPU

After upgrading to Mesa 22.3.1 (Fedora 37), mythfrontend crashes on
startup when using an AMD GPU.  It's fine with Intel and nVidia
(nouveau) GPUs.

There are several bug reports with various applications here:

For now, it looks like the workaround is to run with with the following
environment variable setting:

mesa_glthread=false
