Well, I had to switch to the standard decoder for NBC, and the behaviour
followed to the firestick too. I guess mediacodec video takes a different
path. I never watch LiveTV, but they do all the time here.
Setting avsync2 to 40 fixes the initial non-recovering stuttering and
setting audio sync to -40 puts the out of sync lips back.
Just an FYI for firestick US users...
I do get some opengl menu artifacts when changing from a menu or epg to
watching Live TV (does not happen on recordings), but they only last a
couple seconds usually.
