In my life :-) I have built ffmpeg. That poluted /opt/local/include with libav headers.
—extra-cxxflags includes that directory first and the mythtv headers were not used.
Fixing that results in a clean build but link fails looking for QuickTime framework.

Ive been building using Qt5.12.3 on osx 10.13.6. The solution seems not clear.
Any hints please?

The are a number of howto builds for osx, but they were hard to find. If I prevail would a wiki entry on building be useful. I would imagine that it would

Is mythtv’s wiki open or by invite only?
