some success but confusion. I copied the .mkv test video from the ftp
link above to /var/lib/mythtv and set the owner/group to mythtv. This
afternoon I created /var/lib/mythtv and in mythtv-setup I assigned all
the Storage Groups to that directory. I first tested mythfrontend ->
Media Library -> videos and was able to play the video via frontend.
Then I went in to mythfrontend setup and in wizard the video played this
time without trying to download. It is not looking in .mythtv/tmp anymore.
I still think there is an environment variable or define not right on a
build from source system, that is there in PPA builds.
