Let me see if I understand. You want or need the season & episode
numbers so that recordings are displayed in the correct order, right?

If that's the case, and if you want to see the recordings in the correct
order in mythfrontend's Watch Recordings when you are looking at a
particular series, then there's an alternative, Original Air Date.

Somewhere in mythfrontend's settings, you can tell it what data to use
to sort episodes and whether to sort ascending or descending. I've
chosen to sort by original air date in ascending order. mythfilldatabase
using Schedules Direct does populate it in the recorded.originalairdate
column. And I've been taking advantage of this feature long before I was
on v0.27 (I'm now on v29). So, if your grabber provides that info, I'm
sure you can figure out how to automate populating that column.

But, if you're looking to display episodes in the right order in some
other player, like a UPNP client, then I have no idea if original air
date can help.

Helen
