i've a feeling i'll need to rescan to get the new channels visible in mythweb channel editor.
not only should i take a sql backup of the channels before rescan, but thats 15-20mins scan time on DVB-S2 that has to be done with the BE offline, and then the time to re-import the backup to ensure i get the majority of channels correct to then go through and edit the old&new ones as needed.
