[mythtv-users] UPnP issues

I'm running MythTV 0.29.1 on Fedora 27. I've noticed several odd things
involving mythbackend's UPnP support:

1. When exiting mythfrontend, it hangs with a message about shutting down
    the UPnP client:

    2018-10-13 10:59:39.105693 I Shutting down UPnP client...

Running 'killall mythfrontend' twice is needed to finish the
mythfrontend process. When UPnP is disabled in mythbackend (--noupnp),
mythfrontend exits without delay. Otherwise, mythfrontend works without
issue regardless of whether UPnP is on or off.

2. When clicking on a recorded program's title or thumbnail in mythweb,
there is a ~ 5 second delay before the program's details appear. When
UPnP is disabled, the program details appear immediately.

3. Also in mythweb, the Backend Status page appears when UPnP is enabled
but if it's disabled a 404 not found page appears. The same goes for
WebFrontend's backend status page. The information that is shown in
Backend Status _is_ visible in mythfrontend's Information Center /
    System Information pages.

FYI, I prefer to keep MythTV's UPnP support disabled (mainly due to the
Titles folder's showing only the series title for episodic series which
makes it difficult to choose a particular episode...I use Serviio as a
UPnP server of a mythlink.pl-generated folder of my MythTV recordings so I
can see episode title and subtitle). I don't mind the improved performance
with UPnP off but I do miss the Backend Status page.
