The smart Hub is an IR repeater.  So the remote control that comes with 
the hub communicates with BT to the hub and it sends IR to the devices.  
The Hub itself is a repeater.  It comes with remote IR senders that can 
be plugged into the hub to send IR signals outside the cabinet to the TV 
or whatever.
