Any particular reason you cannot add the playback profile entries? Is 
something unclear in the instructions?

Speaker tests in the audio section do not work on android but as long as 
you select opensles the sound works with playback. I suppose somebody 
should look into the speaker test problem.

Which playback profile are you using? Mediacodec fails to work with 
mpeg2, hence the requirement for the custom profile. Mediacodec works 
well with H264 or H265.
