[mythtv-users] Mariadb database as a LXD container and AV Sync issues

Hello,

I am running mariadb-10.1.32-r0 in a LXD container (on a gentoo host).
The container itself is running Alpine and sits on a ZFS dataset. This
setup gives me flexibility of creating backups of the system.
Unfortunately, i am seeing the following errors in a remote FE,

Player(0): Waited 102ms for video buffers AAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUuuAAAAAAP

AFD: Audio 95440057 ms behind video but already 220 video frames queued.
AV-Sync might be broken

Is it possible that this is due to inefficiencies of the DB running in a
container?

The database config is like so,

# cat /etc/mysql/my.cnf | egrep -v "(^#.*|^$)"
[client]
port            = 3306
socket          = /run/mysqld/mysqld.sock
[mysqld]
port            = 3306
socket          = /run/mysqld/mysqld.sock
skip-external-locking
key_buffer_size = 16M
max_allowed_packet = 1M
table_open_cache = 64
sort_buffer_size = 512K
net_buffer_length = 8K
read_buffer_size = 256K
read_rnd_buffer_size = 512K
myisam_sort_buffer_size = 8M
bind-address                            = 0.0.0.0
log-bin=mysql-bin
binlog_format=mixed
server-id       = 1
innodb_data_home_dir            = /var/lib/mysql/innodb
innodb_log_group_home_dir       = /var/lib/mysql/logs
innodb_data_file_path = ibdata1:10M:autoextend:max:15G
[mysqldump]
quick
max_allowed_packet = 16M
[mysql]
no-auto-rehash
[myisamchk]
key_buffer_size = 20M
sort_buffer_size = 20M
read_buffer = 2M
write_buffer = 2M
[mysqlhotcopy]
interactive-timeout

Any tips to fix this?
