I don't know where you .conf files live, but try something
similar to this:

   grep db_password /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/mythweb.conf

Make sure the db_password matches the <Password> in ~mythtv/.mythtv/config.xml
(or wherever Sid keeps that file.)
