Hi Bill!

Yes: had installed as a Backend in the event of a longer-term power
failure during a storm; figured could watch the weather report. Fairly
certain installed/left it as localhost (127.0.0.1) because there was no
reason to record anything on the laptop and watch on a television.  (Do
have a USB tuner and small antenna.)

When I started having problems with the Backends (BE1 and BE2 -- the
computers) I configured the laptop to look at them.  Eventually
easier/needed to work on the Backends directly so the laptop was more or
less ignored.

Now for the answers:

locate -b '\mythbackend' '\mythfilldatabase'

gave me     /usr/bin mythfrontend
                         /usr/bin/mythfilldatabase

sudo grep -r mythfilldatabase /etc/cron*

gave me no response.  (Returns to Terminal prompt.)

Good news: the laptop didn't appear on the NAT Table, or at least yet!
Did /not/ load mythfrontend.

TIA!
Barry
