[mythtv-users] No recordings

Earlier this evening I mistkenly deleted a movie, so I went to deleted
recordings and undeleted it and when I went to esc  from there mythtv froze
up with thin images of two different screens. Being on my way out I
switched inputs so the family could watch live TV, and I would wait
patiently for Myth, three hours later it's still frozen so I did the ctl +
alt + screen shot + R E I S U B 9 (individually) and then the box rebooted,
but now Myth sees videos but no recordings, I can see that they are still
on my drives, do I need to use a database backup so Myth can find these
again? or is there a better idea? I'm using Myth 0.28  fixes on n Ubuntu
16.04 combined FE/BE desktop.  TIA  Daryl
