Ok. I thought my message was clear but apparently not. Yes i understand that there can be orphaned recordings (database records deleted) and orphaned records (recording files deleted). I said that in my message. Yes find_orphans.py handles either case (and a few others iirc).

But how does one get 4000 open files when the files are already deleted?

Anyway i've said enough i'm bowing out.
