[mythtv-users] Frontend hardware: VDPAU or VAAPI?

Actually N2808.

I've been noticing the ION is now quietly just dropping frames, noticeable
on pans or fast action, also audio dropouts that upping the audio i/o
buffers don't address. Haven't been seeing those artifacts on the Liva X.
Looked at AMD, too, but the price advantage seems to be with Intel here. I
thought about hanging on until the Apollo Lake NUC's are released (should
be soon), but the main advantage there seems like 4K, which isn't in the
cards for me for a while.

The NUC5 was a sub $200 upgrade, using a laptop hard drive I had hanging
around. It was hard to resist.
