That doesn't give any useful information about *why* it's failing.

Distro/XMLTV version would be useful.

Could you please run the grabber manually from a console with your
FreeviewHD.xmltv config file. You should see progress information from
the grabber on the screen - you can redirect STDERR to a file if you
prefer.

There is currently a warning for the Channel 4 listings about an empty
actor element in the credits - I'll look into this later.
