however the mythtv support was not working at all so I ended up using
libcec-daemon (https://github.com/pssc/libcec-daemon) and lirc.
appears they now also have a internal NUC device (
https://www.pulse-eight.com/p/154/intel-nuc-hdmi-cec-adapter) which looks
interesting however I doubt this would be compatible with the Liva X as
these a baytrail not Haswell or Broadwell
