Thanks for the note, Mike.

If I press "M" on the recordings screen (showing 12 recordings) then "Change
Group Filter", I see...
... All programmes [3194 items]
... Default [3194 items]
... Drama [963 items] 
Etc.

Choosing either of the top two options shows me 12 recordings only. Choosing
any of the others shows me a subset of the 12.
In the "Change group view" menu, everything is now checked.

The backend is now happily recording stuff, but it also doesn't show up.
Someone else did post a while ago about something similar to do with storage
groups if that's any help?
