I've just found the reason:
https://www.deb-multimedia.org/lurker/message/20160622.225524.32631e02.en.html
dpkg -i <your package> is perhaps a brute force approach, but should work.
There is also gdebi which should take care of dependencies, but I
don't have much experience with it.
