Who sits 15 feet from the TV? Certainly not my kids. For my 37" 4K
set, typical viewing distances are 3-4 feet. If you want to sit 15
feet away, you really do need a projector or something like that.

Different people really do see things differently. My eyes seem to
have much better than average spatial resolution, but not temporal
resolution. 30Hz is just fine by me. YMMV.
