Sure.  I didn't mean to imply that USB3 will always fail, but given my
experience, what I've learnt about the xhci stack recently, and the
number of other messages on this list about issues with USB3, I still
think that it is reasonable general advice.

Perhaps I should update the advice as "for USB based video capture
devices, avoid Intel USB3 controllers for now, and if you're not sure
which controller you're getting, stick to USB2".
