You should be aware that you can’t simply boost and split satellite signals like you (mostly) can with terrestrial!
You have to have a satellite switch with all bands and polarities fed in to have multiple outputs, in the UK (and most of Europe) you need 4 cables to cover high and low frequencies at both horizontal and vertical polarities.
Usually it’s fairly simple, you have a multi output LNB, 2, 4 or 8 are common and each tuner input must have it’s own cable from the LNB.
This explains it all fairly well, Freesat has the same dish and LNB requirements as Sky, only the box is different:

Also the organisation of channels on satellite isn’t as handy for multirec as terrestrial so you will probably need more tuners to get the same results.
You can see here what shares with what:

If they share the same frequency and polarisation you can get them together with multirec.
And the equivalent for Freeview/ Terrestrial:

As an example, I record all the main UK FTA HD channels at once with one DVBT2 tuner and one DVBS2 tuner, (could be 2 DVBT2 tuners if I lived nearer a main transmitter) to do the same with only satellite I would need four DVBS2 tuners.

I know you didn’t ask me :-)
I find that EIT is a lot less hassle and updates very quickly when things get re-sheduled. I used to use the Radio Times and later Atlas XML feeds, they are more detailed, work further ahead but only update when you refresh them, usually daily, that’s no use when a live event gets extended, delayed or even moved to a new channel.
