I've been using an old ATX 900 watt power supply that still has a pretty 
good 5v rail, and just use some terminal strips to distribute the power 
to my HD-PVR's, HDHR, and several other devices. Then use the 12 volt 
rail to power a bunch of led lighting around the house.
