[mythtv-users] card needs recording to stop/restart to correctly tune

I've copied this from an earlier thread.  If you can access the logs it 
might help:

And I noticed recently that my *buntu Myth-master box's signal monitor 
was trying a succession of PTM (IIRC) settings during tuning before 
finding one that worked. Don't know if that's normal.  pctv-290e
