Well John, love the concept, just not sure on the specifics.

I spend a lot of time on the road for my work, and live in Canada, so 
the cable card option is out, really only leaving the HDPVR (and its 
successors). Due to the the time I spend on the road, I need a solution 
I can depend on for my family to just work. Over the years I've created 
scripts, cron jobs and lord knows what else to make my HDPVR's run 
dependably with Myth, and for the most part have been fairly 
successful.  Having said that, I know that sooner or later I'm going to 
have to replace them with something, just not sure what that something 
is yet.

Would I pay for a working driver for the HDPVR2, short answer is yes. I 
guess the question at hand is just how much are we talking here? What 
would it take to make KernelLabs interested?
