Having just recently cut the cord on cable (I have two non-working
HD-PVR's, so I couldn't record anything, and we don't watch 'live tv') this
news would have been good about a month ago. Having said that, I wouldn't
be against helping fund this, as once the NHL gears up, I may re-up my
cable for that. Yes, I will have access to GCL (the NHL streaming solution,
like MLB live) but I can't record that, and teaching my family how to use
the ChromeCast may not be worthwhile. I know, it's dead simple, but as soon
as it doesn't work perfectly, I get grief from them. So, count me in for
interest and funding.
