I spent couple dollars more and got the GDDR5 version.   It has a small 
( 64bit memory path ) and GDDR5 has about 3x the bandwidth of DDR3.  
Depending on the game,  this can make a big difference. Mine does have a 
fan,  but it is very quiet.
