Ok, so I just watched an HLS transcode of an HD mpeg2 on a 0.27 backend
initiated by MythTV Player for Android. What happens is it does transcode
the video, but puts it all in the final file, such as:
1421_20150324000000.mpg.1280x720_800kV_64kA.av.000180.ts  - without any
audio. The final file for the audio-only version is 0-bytes.

In the mythtranscode log it just repeats this the whole time it is
transcoding the video:
