No Truncation, that's all.

No. It's the ending of another programme before (recording starts 10 min. bofore, and continues more 10 minutes after ending).

I also believe that mythffmpeg is using ac3...

fltp-ac3 is not unusual in my recordings. If this was causing any problems I should have been aware of it earlier, I think.
