It would not be without good reasons.

This solution is being developed in conjunction with the XMLTV team. It's 
essentially a process external to MythTV but with the input of both Schedules 
Direct board members and MythTV developers who are also XMLTV developers.

Please do not form the impression that we've had plenty of time to work on a 
solution, we first learnt of this November 1st deadline from Schedules Direct 
when you did, one month ago.
