[mythtv-users] Problem configuring new Mythbuntu 14.0.4.1 install

More info:  Two things -- 1) I forgot to mention that MCC took a long
time to open.  I was reminded about it when I did item 2 that follows.
2) I ran MCC with --debug from a terminal and when it eventually
opened, there was an error message in the terminal window about
failing to access "http://download.mythbuntu.org/repos/repos.db".  I
have tried this URL manually from the Chromium browser on the new
Mythbuntu install and from Firefox on another machine, both report
connection timeouts, although I can access http://www.mythbuntu.org/.

I will continue to poke at this while checking to see if anyone offers
suggestion(s) on how to resolve this.
