I guess that's what I mean. On Gentoo all does dependencies and needed
compilation flags on those dependencies are handled by emerge.
The fact remains that it says

So my guess is that one of your needed dependencies is compiled
without H.264 support. Maybe ffmpeg? I am not that deep in this.
