For the archive:

<LocalHostName> should be left as the default is most cases:

      <LocalHostName>my-unique-identifier-goes-here</LocalHostName>

That will cause MythTV to use the system's host name in various
DB tables.

Roger,

There's no harm in changing <LocalHostName> and if you've already
done so, I wouldn't recommend restoring it. You'd just need to go
through the setup again.
