Thank you all for your replies. This is fixed now with the backend
starting on boot, the ~mythtv/.mythtv/config.xml file needed editing for
the <Host> and <LocalHostName> lines, the log now only complains about
not being able to find it's HDHomeRun which is back at the box's home.
Good learning for me. I'm clearer about the purpose of the different
config.xml files - and that it's not mysql.txt that matters any more.
I'm very grateful for the patience, willingness and wisdom on this list.
