On mythtv-0.26 fixes I replaced mythffmpeg with a link to ffmpeg 2.1.3
and now use the Compact theme and I am able to reliably create DVDs (I
have made 50+) from HD content that I record from my HRHRPrime. I too
am using projectX for the cutting. The compact theme does not have the
chapter menu display but still allows my wife to skip manually through
the 8 chapters. I do not get the dvdauthor error with this theme.
