That's very useful to know.  I had assumed it, but since IIRC you're the 
guy who writes alot of those drivers, that pretty much eliminates any 
assumptions on my part.  Cool!   On a related question, .... can I 
assume that the little four digit start to the video file name -- which 
specifies the channel it came from -- is accurate?  That and the MPEG-TS 
versus MPEG-PS should confirm what channel was being recorded, yes?  Thanks!

I'm digging in the logs for more clues.  More soon.

Seriously, I really appreciate your help!
