Just to make sure it works, I did that. I got: (time stamps removed)
I MythCoreContext: Connecting to backend server: 127.0.0.1:6543 (try 1 of 1)
E Connection to master server timed out.
Either the server is down or the master server settings
in mythtv-settings does not contain the proper IP address
E Unable to connect to backend, verbose mask unchanged
[1]+ Exit 137 mythbackend --setverbose eit
This is puzzling, as this mythtv-settings do contain 127.0.0.1 and the
listen to link-local checkbox is checked. The server is down, of
course, as I'm trying to start it with the command that caused the
error. "mythbackend &" (without the --setverbose eit option) works
just fine.
Mmm... Suggestions, anyone?
