And, if you're ripping a whole library, you don't have to update after 
each rip.  You can rip 100, putting each in the proper directory as it 
finishes ripping, then Scan for Changes once.  And, really, you don't 
even need to Scan for Changes /until/ you want to watch one--at which 
point you'll be in Video Library, anyway, so it's 2 button presses and a 
little wait before you watch the show.
