Diskless = good.  I have 5 diskless Myth frontends in my house currently 
running SL (RHEL) with LTSP so it definitely works with other distros also.

Wow, not sure what about LTSP+Myth took 4 days but glad you got it working!

IIRC manually installing the nVidia drivers was a pain (since the server 
had a different kernel/arch than the chroot) but using distro packages 
should get around that.
