have you tried changing the colour space? i had an AMD A8 APU on linux and the earlier drivers would not select the correct colour space for my Eizo monitor causing a heavy purple tint to the display. Maybe the TV panel is misdetecting based on it's auto configuration, so try manually setting the colour. iirc with the A8 & Eizo, i had to force it to 4:4:2 profile.
