I use sql scripts to tidy up stuff after a scan. Tidying means deleting all
the rubbish channels and renumbering the remaining ones to a consistent
state.
My scripts are roughly like the ones on this site

I can't get to my server at present, but mine include switching on commfree
flags and also changing channel priorities for the +1 channels, local
channels, HD etc.
Usual warnings apply about backing up your database before hand and only
doing it if you are confident about doing it.
