[mythtv-users] Media keys on Logitech DiNovo Mini

I just reinstalled my mythbuntu frontend, and my media keys on my logitech
DiNovo mini are no longer working, whereas they were before the reinstall.
Both of the installations were Mythbuntu 12.04, but the new install uses
the new LTS enablement stack (
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/LTSEnablementStack) which uses a new kernel
and xorg version. I suspect one of those changed how the media keys are
handled, but I no longer have the old installation so compare the behavior.

What I see now is that mythtv is configured to respond to "Media Play",
"Media Next", "Media Previous", but these don't work. input-events shows
that I'm getting events that look like KEY_PLAYPAUSE, KEY_NEXTSONG,
KEY_PREVIOUSSONG, but xev is not showing any meaningful events. I believe
xev previously showed keys that looks like XF86AudioPlay,
XF86AudioPrevious, XF86AudioNext, but I can't confirm that now. I do get a
large pop-over ⃠ (no symbol) like something is detecting the event, but
not doing anything with it. This isn't mythtv, as the large popover shows
up in xfce without mythtv running.

Any ideas what changed in the kernel or xorg that made these buttons stop
working, and how I can get it back?

Joel
