[mythtv-users] DirecTV H21 stops responding to serial commands

I've got a DirecTV receiver that I control using a serial cable and the
directv.pl script. About once a week it stops responding to channel change
commands. I have to power cycle it or reset it with the red button to get
it going again.

It has worked reliably for years and this just recently started happening.

I am pretty sure it's an H21 but it might be an H23. Not sure.

Any suggestions?
