[mythtv-users] How to disable MythBuntu auto-mount?

Hi Folks,

My MythBuntu 12.04 system pops up a window asking what I'd like to do
when I plug in certain USB devices. Given that I don't have a keyboard
or mouse, and that the window is on top of the mythfrontend window, this
is quite annoying.

I went into the Thunar settings and unchecked as much as I could, but
some devices would still trigger the window to pop-up. Even unselecting
the "Enable volume management" option in the Thunar preferences didn't
have any effect. I came across this post
<http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1035200.html>, but I don't
even have a /etc/hal/ directory, which makes me think that it might not
apply to my system.

I also came across this:
<http://askubuntu.com/questions/289621/dont-automatically-open-the-folder-of-mounted-devices>
and after unchecking both "automount" and "automount-open", the
situation is actually *worse*. Rather than asking, it auto-mounts and
pops up Thunar, and even does so for devices that I've configured it to
ignore.

I'm thinking that I maybe have to go a layer below Thunar to get this
disabled? But if so, where/how?

Thanks
-WD
