It used to be that any time you wanted to change tuner priorities or bump the number of virtual tuners etc the standard advice was to wipe 'em all out and redefine from scratch. It wasn't common to do this but it wasn't uncommon either.

Maybe a year ago a change went in where tuner preference is through an integer you control rather than DB row create order. It was a pretty sweet little update and nowadays full wipes are no longer fashionable.
