[mythtv-users] Can mythtv (or mplayer/xine through mythtv) upmix 5.1 sound in 6.1 or 7.1?

for this to happen, the channels must have been matrixed in the
original material... otherwise no "upmixing" will occur. It's no
upmixing either, just separating the channels that have already been
encoded there
