Yeah, it really depends on the EPG source and channel. Most only have
a few lines in my EPG source, but especially some public channels have
really long description that sometimes don't even fit into the info
screen without scrolling.
I noticed that even if the description fits into the text field, there
is some minor scrolling, making the text jump up and down a few pixel.

Yes, good point. It's probably a matter of taste which default
behavior makes more sense to you.
