I haven't used this particular one, but the problem I have found with
playing recordings over DLNA is that the players just aren't as good
as MythFrontend. In particular, the number one drawback seems to be
the skip forward/backward functionality. MythFrontend is fantastic in
this regard which makes it easy to skip through credits, ads etc, or
replay a scene you just missed. All of the DLNA players I've used on
Android devices don't have this and it makes the viewing experience
quite poor.
