Themes can't leak memory, but the underlying MythUI code that
interprets theme code may.
The only meaningful use of memory by themes is fan art. For my ~2000
recordings, the fan art and cover art directories use 500MB. (Is fan
art that no current recording uses deleted?)

I run a combined frontend/backend (database on another box) on
Linux--which has considerably less overhead than OS X--with 2GB of
RAM, and have never seen the truncated message with 0.25. That said, I
have seen swap usage rise since I began using fan art with 0.25; even
if not all of the 500MB extra content that didn't exist with 0.24 is
kept in memory at once, surely some substantial portion is.

Any fan art-less theme will do; themes' other graphical effects have
essentially no effect on memory usage whatsoever.
